Role Summary
The Designer is a key member of the Creative Department, executing creative elements for brand activations, events, proposals, recaps, internal collateral, on-site event installations, and other projects in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities
- Offer strategic design solutions and create working drawings, storyboards, layouts, mood boards, and mockups
- Create outstanding 2D designs for event and activation concepts
- Manage creative presentation documents, digital and print assets
- Support internal and client presentations
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver creative materials on-time with consistency and quality
- Liaise with external vendors, printers, contractors, and freelance creatives
- Establish and manage project timelines for creative deliverables
- Seek and share inspiration to educate and motivate internal teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Industrial Design, Environmental Design, or related
- 2-5 years industry/agency/internship experience in graphic design for events
- Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design for digital and physical applications
- Expertise in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Proficiency with Keynote, Powerpoint, Google Docs/Slides
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Dropbox
- Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Understanding of print production practices, fabrication, installation, substrates, print techniques, print file prep
- Exposure to 3D modeling software (Sketchup, Vectorworks, AutoCAD, Rhino, Studio 3D Max, Cinema 4D) is a plus
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, After Effects is a plus
- Excellent organization, interpersonal, and written communication skills
- Ability to articulate design solutions and translate vision into project deliverables
- Strong work ethic, adaptability, and team collaboration
- Ability to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends) as needed
- Willingness to travel
