Role Summary

This role utilizes expertise in design principles, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Generative AI tools to conceptualize and develop high-quality, business-relevant imagery for Daon's global marketing department, spanning digital and print applications. The designer delivers effective assets from brief to production with minimal direction, while adapting to new input when required.

Responsibilities

  • Concept and develop brand imagery within existing parameters; future development of brand standards
  • Design and maintain brand collateral including iconography, diagrams, infographics, and graphical resources
  • Create unique materials to drive B2B lead generation (web ads, social graphics, infographics)
  • Design and build email and landing page templates and supporting imagery in a CMS
  • Design multipage documents with charts, graphs, infographics; support articles, blogs, and web content
  • Design PowerPoint templates and graphical elements; support sales in deck refinement
  • Design booth graphics and materials for international trade shows
  • Develop website imagery and assets for ongoing web updates; participate in website redesign
  • Develop motion graphics (preferred), such as HTML5 ads and imagery for short form videos

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of relevant graphic design experience in B2B (required)
  • Bachelor’s or technical degree in graphic design or similar field (required)
  • Strong understanding of graphic design principles (required)
  • Full proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator (required)
  • Experience prompting LLM-based tools (Midjourney, Gemini, ChatGPT, Firefly) for imagery development
  • Ability to concept and create with minimal direction
  • Understanding of marketing principles related to design
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects
  • Effective communication skills; ability to integrate external input
  • Experience building emails and landing pages in CMS (preferred, e.g., HubSpot)
  • Knowledge of email/web design for responsive graphics (preferred)
  • Skills in developing motion graphics (preferred)
  • Video development skills with Adobe Premiere/AfterEffects (preferred)
