Role Summary
The Graphic Designer creates and executes on-brand creative across all channels, developing channel-specific deliverables for social, email, digital, in-store, and internal initiatives. The role supports campaigns and design exploration while ensuring the Indigo brand is consistently and strongly communicated.
Responsibilities
- Translate campaign concepts into channel-specific layouts optimized for format, placement, motion, and performance
- Ideate and execute impactful, on-brand design for campaigns and initiatives across channels
- Execute designs and apply Indigo branding aesthetics for consistent messaging hierarchy
- Develop integrated production-ready artwork for digital and print mediums
- Design high-impact social-first creative including modular systems for scaling
- Contribute to presentations and concept development
- Balance multiple projects and workstreams with speed and care
- Maintain high-volume output with strong design standards
- Ensure creative is on-brand and bring fresh references to elevate work
- Advocate for customers in all decision-making and design processes
- Identify areas for improvement and resolve issues
- Take feedback professionally and adapt thoughtfully
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners
- Encourage sharing and openness to feedback
- Model Indigo’s beliefs and convey a positive image

Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in graphic design or design-related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an agency or in-house creative shop
- Experience supporting national brands an asset
- Extensive knowledge and experience in Adobe Creative Suite
- Advanced use of Figma
- Experience creating content for social media
- Excellent conceptual, visualization, and design skills
- Demonstrated skills in graphic design and brand development
- Thorough understanding and ability in graphic design and typography
- Understanding of industry standards for design in a retail environment
- Dynamic, driven, team-oriented, able to accept constructive criticism
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to balance deadlines, resources, style, and quality
- Ability to create storytelling via social media platforms
- Portfolio required (link or file upload)
