Senior Designer, Internal Communications

Role Summary

The Senior Designer on the Internal Communications team is responsible for developing visually impactful presentations, templates, newsletters, and engagement materials for PitchBook employees, supporting company culture and internal communications strategy through effective design.

Responsibilities

• Create visually impactful presentations for all-company meetings, business reviews, executive-level events, and Board meetings
• Adhere to and promote internal brand templates and guidelines
• Design materials for employee engagement events including posters, t-shirts, stickers, and other swag
• Update and design newsletters, email headers, digital signage, and other communication needs
• Monitor and track engagement metrics for internal communications materials and campaigns
• Visualize data in Excel and other formats, ensuring data-centered storytelling
• Support and role model company vision and values
• Collaborate with Marketing team designers for internal-facing designs
• Publish articles on the company intranet monthly
• Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years of graphic design experience in a corporate or agency setting
• Proficient in presentation design, typography, layout, and data visualization
• Ability to communicate complex ideas and data graphically within brand guidelines
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience designing presentations in Keynote is a plus
• Familiarity with the latest design trends and software
• Experience with motion design, UX/UI principles, and video editing is a strong plus
• Ability to deliver deadlines under pressure and manage competing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail, including data accuracy
• Experience interacting with executive leaders
• Ability to explain design direction and justifications
• Effective listening and feedback skills
• Professional portfolio demonstrating storytelling and engagement through design
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
