Role Summary
The Senior UI Designer will work in a cross-functional creative team to design interfaces that enhance user experience and increase conversion for transactional websites, focusing on digital brand look and responsive design.
Responsibilities
- Design digital brand look and feel and pixel-perfect responsive interfaces
- Work with design systems to create scalable design work
- Apply user-centered design, conversion, and accessibility principles
- Communicate design ideas and solutions to clients and team members
- Collaborate with stakeholders, designers, UX consultants, product managers, and developers
- Stay updated on technology, design trends, and new tools
- Lead execution of online visual identity with a focus on conversion-led design
- Defend and present design decisions confidently
Qualifications
- Experience using design systems for large consumer-facing brands
- Demonstrable eCommerce experience
- Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Detail-oriented with excellent craftsmanship
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Ability to work quickly and accurately to tight deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Ability to present concepts and design decisions
- Enthusiastic, self-confident, and motivated
- Adaptable and eager to take on new challenges
- Passion for technology and web applications
- Experience in digital agency or in-house design studio
- Degree in Graphic/UI design or similar discipline
- Outstanding eye for design and typography
- Compelling portfolio featuring high-quality online and eCommerce design
- Experience with design tokens is a plus
- Animation and video experience (Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro) is beneficial
