Role Summary
The Senior UX Designer will be a key member of VML's expanding CX team, leading the creation of user-centric ecommerce and online experiences. The role involves owning the UX process, collaborating with internal teams and clients, and delivering crafted design solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and run product definition and UX requirements workshops
- Scope and manage qualitative and quantitative research
- Analyze research data to generate insights and behavioral patterns
- Apply design thinking techniques to identify and shape new experiences, products, and services
- Create design artifacts such as personas, journey maps, storyboards, process flows, information architecture diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes
- Communicate, defend, and build consensus around product strategy and design approaches
- Work closely with stakeholders, designers, program managers, and developers to enhance design quality and user experience
- Collaborate with Account Leads, Head of UX, Head of CX, and clients to understand business drivers and provide UX leadership
- Present and communicate ideas and design rationale to various audiences including C-Suite
Qualifications
- Significant proven experience, ideally at an agency
- Compelling portfolio demonstrating high quality, best-in-class UX design
- Breadth of experience in e-commerce or complex journeys
- Experience owning the full UX process including discovery phases and design-thinking methods
- Strong information, interaction, and experience design skills
- Ability to comprehend technical constraints, user goals, and business requirements
- Excellent client communication skills
- Strong portfolio is required
