Role Summary
The Senior UX Designer will join the expanding CX team, collaborating with leads in UX, UI, Service Design, Optimisation, and Consulting. Reporting to the Lead UX, this role focuses on delivering excellent e-commerce and online experiences, leading UX project deliverables through all phases of design, and ensuring both clients’ requirements and users’ needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Design and run product definition and UX requirements workshops
- Scope and manage qualitative and quantitative research initiatives
- Analyze research data to uncover insights and behavioral patterns
- Apply design thinking techniques to identify and shape new experiences, products, and services
- Create design artifacts such as personas, journey maps, wireframes, and prototypes
- Communicate and build consensus around product strategy and design approaches
- Work closely with stakeholders, designers, project managers, and developers to improve design quality and user experience
- Collaborate with leadership and clients, providing UX expertise to internal and external teams
- Present and communicate ideas and rationale to working groups and executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Significant proven UX design experience, ideally at an agency
- Compelling portfolio demonstrating high quality UX design
- Experience in e-commerce or complex user journeys
- Full UX process ownership, including discovery phases and both qualitative and quantitative research
- Strong information, interaction, and experience design skills
- Ability to understand technical constraints, user goals, and business requirements
- Excellent client communication skills
