Role Summary
The Sr. Product Designer owns the end-to-end design of investor experiences, leading product design efforts to drive user delight and retention. Responsibilities include design systems, user research, and delivering high-quality work across onboarding, payments, transfers, and account management.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary design lead for the Investor product team
- Own journey maps for the Investor lifecycle
- Develop and iterate designs with stakeholders; validate through research/testing
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business partners to ensure feasibility
- Create high-fidelity mockups representing final product
- Document design decisions and direction throughout the process
- Review and sign off on applicable releases for quality
- Lead evolution of the design system for consistency and efficiency
- Conduct discovery sessions and research with clients/prospects
- Translate research findings into user journeys
- Engage in regular design critiques and incorporate feedback
Qualifications
- 5+ years professional Product Design experience in a full-time IC role
- Portfolio showcasing shipped high-quality products/features
- Expertise in crafting and using design systems
- Strong experience in user-centric design and discovery
- End-to-end understanding of the product design process
- Growth mindset with drive for continuous learning
- Track record of autonomy and active project ownership
- Skilled in storytelling, wireframing, and prototyping
- Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in design or engineering
- Bonus: Knowledge or experience in fintech, banking, or private investment
- Bonus: Experience with B2B2C or financial design, onboarding, or payments
- Bonus: Startup design experience
- Bonus: Experience in leading research for product development
- Bonus: Familiarity with web development (HTML, CSS)
