What You’ll Do

Design Meaningful Experiences

Create seamless, customer-centred journeys across mobile and web.
Turn complex financial processes into simple, intuitive user experiences.
Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma.

Drive Product & Lifecycle Impact

Partner with Product, Lifecycle, and BI teams to improve onboarding, activation, and retention.
Identify friction points and design solutions that improve conversion and engagement.
Build experiences that directly influence customer behaviour and growth.

Design with Data

Use behavioural insights and analytics to inform design decisions.
Run usability testing and continuously iterate based on real user feedback.
Ensure designs are evidence-based and performance-driven.

Build & Scale Design Systems

Contribute to and evolve Mukuru’s design system and component library.
Ensure consistency across iOS, Android, and web platforms.
Deliver clear, structured handovers to Engineering teams.

What You Bring

4+ years’ experience in UX design within digital product environments
Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design thinking
Advanced proficiency in Figma (wireframing, prototyping, UI design)
Experience designing for mobile (iOS/Android) and web
Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
Experience in fintech, e-commerce, or high-transaction platforms (advantageous)
