Role Summary

The UX Designer creates user interactions, design systems, UX flow wireframes, and interface designs to deliver engaging, user-friendly digital experiences. The role focuses on iterative, user-centered design and collaboration with cross-functional teams to build effective, interactive software products.

Responsibilities

Create user interactions, design systems, UX flow wireframes, and interface designs
Deliver user-friendly, aesthetically engaging work that improves interaction metrics
Develop high-level, detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes
Create interaction flow wireframes based on product specifications
Conduct user testing and assimilate customer feedback
Plan and conduct user research and interviews
Work closely with engineers, product managers, and artists
Implement high-fidelity prototypes and low-fidelity wireframes
Rapidly test and iterate designs using a user-centered approach

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interactive or Multimedia Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a closely-related field
2 years of experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer or related
Knowledge of common UX design patterns across different platforms
Strong portfolio with: at least two individual end-to-end design projects, at least two group end-to-end design projects, one project with sketches, wireframes and prototypes
Clear understanding of user-centered design and design thinking
Attention to visual design, typeface, color, and UI for various modalities
Portfolio with: at least two projects across different screen/device modalities; at least one business/enterprise application; at least one project with data visualization/manipulation; at least one system-level design or design system/unification
Ability to perform wireframing, user flows, and information architecture
Ability to conduct primary and secondary user research
Knowledge of design software tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or Sketch/Figma
