Job Description
Independent, employee-owned financial services firm.
About Us: Headquartered in Chicago, Performance Trust Capital Partners, LLC is an investment bank that combines Wall Street scale with the agility of an independent, employee-owned firm. We help financial institutions uncover overlooked opportunities, navigate complexity, and make decisions grounded in insight—not impulse. Our work is focused on long-term impact and relationships built on what matters most: trust and enduring performance.
About the Position: We're looking for a versatile Designer with 5+ years of experience who thrives at the intersection of digital and traditional design to report to our SVP of Creative. We're looking for someone who moves fluidly across digital and print—from website layouts and email campaigns to polished event collateral and branded presentations. You don't just make things look good—you make them work.
Specifically, this individual will be responsible for the following:
Use expertise in typography, layout, color systems, and multichannel visual identity to produce engaging print and digital collateral from a defined brand system
Design and maintain UX/UI experiences across web and digital platforms, from wireframes and prototypes to final production, with layouts and landing pages that are both visually compelling and conversion-driven
Develop marketing collateral across print and digital—including brochures, presentations, event materials, and signage
Create on-brand email campaigns and templates that engage and convert
Support event production from a design standpoint—including signage, collateral, name tags, and on-site materials
Collaborate closely with marketing, events, and content teams to bring ideas to life across every touchpoint
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining sharp attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Ensure all creative work reflects the company’s brand strategy, meets compliance requirements and accessibility standards, and aligns with industry best practices for financial services
Contribute to and maintain a shared design system, brand asset library, and file organization standards
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
5+ years of design experience, ideally with exposure to financial services or a similarly regulated industry
Strong portfolio showcasing both digital (UX/UI, web) and print/marketing work
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and email design platforms (HubSpot or similar programs)
Familiarity with Adobe Express and Firefly, or other AI-assisted design tools
In-depth experience with Microsoft Office products, including Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Solid understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and web best practices
Experience working within established brand guidelines while finding room for creativity
Ability to take a project from concept through to final delivery with increasing independence
Strong communicator who can present and articulate design decisions to stakeholders
Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities
Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship
Experience in financial services, fintech, or a regulated industry
Familiarity with HTML/CSS basics
Motion graphics or video editing skills
Experience with design systems or component libraries
Strong knowledge of AI and thirst to embrace this technology
