About the role
Chelsea, Camberwell & Wimbledon (CCW) have undertaken placemaking research across each of our three home locations of Westminster, Southwark and Merton. We are now recruiting a graphic designer to assist with the external presentation of this research. This role best suits a proficient, enthusiastic designer who can work to a brief. This work will take place over 8 days, fully flexible from May 20th to June 30th. It is anticipated that documents will be created using InDesign. Work can be undertaken remotely or in person at any of the three sites, with availability to meet in person as required.
Key responsibilities
- To design the layout of three digital strategy documents, relating to each of CCW’s respective boroughs with additional short-form versions for presentation.
- To design templates for PowerPoint presentations for future use.
- To use UAL brand guidelines and templates as appropriate.
- Provide a series of proofs for development, applying relevant changes where necessary.
- Receive and apply constructive criticism to produce high quality work.
Personal Specification
- Pursuing or having received a degree or professional qualification in design or a relevant discipline.
- Ability to apply design principles in layout, image, and typography.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

- Knowledge, understanding, or awareness of civic strategy documents
- A short statement covering how you meet the requirements.
- A link to your portfolio that demonstrates experience in the relevant areas.
