What is a testimonial section?

A testimonial section is the part of a website that quotes real customers. It is social proof: a visitor who has not tried the product sees that people like them have, and what they got from it. It usually sits after the main claims about the product and before the pricing or the final call to action.

What makes a testimonial believable?

A full name, a photo, a role and a company. A specific result reads as true where general praise does not: "We cut onboarding from two weeks to three days" beats "Great product". Link to the source when the quote comes from a public review or post.

Which testimonial layout works best?

One strong quote next to a claim works better than a carousel nobody advances. Use a grid or wall of short quotes when the point is volume. Use a longer customer story when the buyer needs detail, as in B2B. Avoid sliders that rotate by themselves, because they hide most of the quotes from most visitors.

Where do these testimonial examples come from?

Most are testimonial sections and components published on the Framer marketplace, with sections from live SaaS sites and concepts from Layers. Muzli follows more than 200 design sources and lists up to 60 matching pieces here, favouring recent work.
